Atheists, as far as I know, don't go around BASHING religion. We are the bashed in this human relationship, we are the ones put upon by society and when we speak our minds, which in some countries is still legal we ARE bashed.
Civilly telling the truth to others is not bashing, it is discourse, conversation, debate. A healthy way of living. Atheists are not the ones in a, discourse, conversation, debate to threaten the others with HELLFIRE AND DAMNATION - that is the religious, god fearing, peace loving, side of the discourse. Atheists, haven't warred against people and nations in the name of some supernatural force or being, that is what the religious people bring to the discourse.
If you want to invent that calender I'm not so sure it'll sell many copies. But who knows, you could be rich next year.

Im atheist and Im an adult, and therefor dont see a need to "bash" religion. I think that religion does a pretty good job of bashing itself. Its sad when peoples answers on here are "millions of people cant be wrong" or "the truth is in the bible/quran". They cant prove ONE single thing. Just vague prophecies. For the record I predicted there would be a war somewhere in the world based on religion for each of the past 20 years and I have been right every time :)

People using the idea that religion is the bases for many wars seems to be pretty popular. I agree that a lot of people use their beliefs to attempt to justify wrong doing. It is pretty messed up when someone is supposed to be promoting something good and they do bad things. I think the issue is not with God. I think it is with people. There are people who claim to be Christians but don't act like it... and there are a lot of other people who claim to be lots of things they don't truly seem to be. I think a genuine person is one that doesn't just talk the talk... becuase talk is easy.
I think there are two types of people: The ones who try their best to do what they truly believe is right... and those who just want to say "this is who I am" even though they are not even really trying.
So I encourage everyone, no matter what you believe is right, to truly think it out and then genuinely try to live it out. Then if you find you were wrong on things, adjust accordingly.
P.S. To those really trying to be genuine, even you will mess up sometimes, and maybe even look hypocritical... But learn from it and keep trying to better yourself.

As an Atheist I do not seed the need nor purpose to bash any ones religious beliefs. A polite, respectful and rational discussion makes more sense, there is enough religious violence in the world as it is.

Religion bashing? Gee, wouldn't it be great if atheists ran the world? Then we would all be free to think what we want!
