it is very possible but i don't think she would be allowed to stay in the USA (if she is still living here), cause from what i know is if you live abroad and you Renounce your US citizenship you're not allowed to come back to the US for so many years.

I was reading the other day that many Americans that have established citizenship in other countries are Renouncing their American citizenship for tax reasons cause the US is the only country that taxes its citizens when they are working abroad.

But the guys are correct, before Renouncing her citizenship she should establish citizenship in another country because how is she gonna travel from one country to the other without any ID or passport?

Yes, it is possible ... must be done at a consulate/embassy, in writing.... HOWEVER, it is not recommended ..... this could create some serious problems down the road.

This is something not to be taken lightly ....
She should consult attorneys, and wait for at least a year or two, or more before making such a drastic decision. She will also want to have established citizenship with another country first, also.

Really strongly recommend not do this.

A far better action would be to become part of the solution! Get involved in advocacy groups, in local/regional politics (to start), in other political causes, and help make good changes in your country!!!

S. for such various years. i grew to become into reading the different day that many individuals that have favourite citizenship in different international locations are Renouncing their American citizenship for tax motives reason the U. S. is the only usa that taxes its voters while they are working in another country. however the adult adult males are terrific suited, in the previous Renouncing her citizenship she ought to establish citizenship in yet another usa because of the fact how is she gonna holiday from one usa to the different with none identity or passport?

Hi there;
In response to you question; it is your Democratic privilege in the United States to renounce yourself as a citizen however, carefully weigh the rights and entitlements that you may also forfeit....
Sometimes, it is far better to implement your civic duty to petition the government for redress of grievance of your concerns as opposed to being a person without a country....

In the USA, you are allowed to give up US citizenship. But if you do, you will never again be allowed to be a US citizen.

I think you cannot renounce your citizenship if that will result in you become stateless.
