Can you ask a more inane question? The age is not mentioned but a set of parents should know everything about their children. If you are not still a virgin then you are looking for trouble---and they'll know by the baby you're carrying around, or the sickness you got and can't get rid of. You need to straighten up and respect your folks--be happy that they care. What is a kid doing laying down for some guy anyway? What do you know about true love and relationships? OH he's cute. oh he's popular--yeah so are you---just because you're an easy mark. God--get a grip.

Depends on how young. There's a big fat difference between a 13 year old having sex and a 17 year old having sex.
Regardless of if you know you should talk to your kids about how to be safe. Maybe they will never have sex... ever... but they will one day have friends who want good advice, and that can be hard to run by in the typical school cafeteria.

Yes... i know that it is scary to tell your parents in the first place but the reason is for your safety... there are a lot of bad thing s out there... tell a mom or dad... go get checked out and also make sure that you get on birth control. this will refrain you from having a baby or getting a STD.

Parents should know, but they shouldn't have to ask or otherwise be told by somebody else to find out. They should have enough communication with their teen that they either know intuitively or that their teen is willing to talk with them about such matters.

Yes because when it comes down to it. Dear old mom and or dad will be the ones flipping the bill for something.
Besides, the best way to keep anything from happening is for the child, and yes I said child, is to abstain from any premarital sex.

Yes...
For the simple reason that they don't want their daughter becoming pregnant or their son making a girl pregnant.
When they know their teen is having sex... they can educate them into taking precautions.
