Books have been written on this subject! In England, along the south eastern coast,Jesus was reported to have mined tin with his Uncle Joseph of Aremathea,a relative of his Mother,Mary's!There are too many writings, and research validated for this information to go unreported!Jesus worked hard, supported his family, and was a rich man!He had enough to give to the poor, and take care of twelve apostles, who traveled with him,and he never begged for anything!Jesus wasn't afraid of hard work, and he sure wasn't lazy!He was very strong and muscular in build!Long hair would have been pulled back, and out of his face,so he could see,and work!I have seen these books, but could not afford to buy any!I'm sure they are still available, and exist! They were advertised through Shepherd's Chapel,a ministry in Gravette,Arkansas,Pastor Arnold Murray, when I first heard of them, over a decade ago!It was very interesting, and believeable!I hope these books become available to all christians! This information is true!

First a question, how is it some get labeled 'top contributor'? when they are not that well read or informed? Where the bible is silent, we must also be? what utter nonsense, the bible often tells much between the lines. I have more than enough evidence that suggests that well told story of the Saviors spent youth, Popular conception is that he was a poor carpenter's son and traveled as a vagabond in his ministry is pure soft in the head bunk! He was well off and well educated, and most likely did things with his might and energy as the scripture tells us to do as well. He was eager to travel with an uncle that loved him as any of our uncles would. There is evidence that Joseph his step-father was gone some time after he reached the age of twelve, so Mary would have welcomed an uncle to teach the boy adventure.

There never were tin mines on the south-eastern coast of England, they were in the south-west, and Jesus never visited Britain, I'd have remembered

Dear Sister,
The books you're thinking of are works of speculative fiction. There are many legends of Christ's possible journey to the British Isles in the company of Joseph of Arimathea, but they have no substantiation in history, at least so far.
I would love to believe that Jesus came to Britain (in fact, the hymn "Jerusalem" contains references to the legend), but truth to tell, there are no records of it,
The Grail is also believed, by some, to be hidden in Britain, but again, there's no real evidence for it.
Your faith does you credit, but your vision may be a little blinded by love for the Carpenter.
