I know ali would kick his *** but I think mike tyson in his prime could beat anybody either by knock out or decision. If he did lose it would still be atough fight he was so strong so quick never seen anything like it to bad he insane and pyscho.

based strictly on physical power and speed i would agree but boxing and what makes you a great boxer entails many more aspects discipline being one of the foremost and I think we can agree he lacked that bigtime and as a represemtative of the sport he was one sorry diplomat I believe pete rose was one of the greatest ball players ever but his off field antticks will and should forever keep him from taking his place in the hall of fame and so it should be with tyson or any one else who would forget that athletesism should never take precedence over being a good person

Mike was a slugger at best. Not a boxer. In his prime he got beat by Buster Douglas. I don't believe Buster would have stood with Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Louis, or either one of the Sugar Rays (knowing Leonard wasn't a heavyweight obviously).

I still think Ali or Joe Louis were the best all round boxers. Tyson was a street fighter, and while great at times, was dirty and just plain mean/crazy.

well lets go here first, mike tyson was a straight up brawler, not a boxer, im from brooklyn,im a tyson fan but i always felt if he got in with a smart boxer he would have problems.....and thats what happen, douglas, holyfield and lewis and he was in his prime so no exscuses, but take nothing from mike i loved to see him put heads to bed...most was afraid before they stepped in the ring...so here's my answer.....a big fat NO..WAS GOOD BUT NOT THE GREATEST.

I think this is the best Boxing question anyone ever asked. I am with you 100%. In his prime non-raping days he would kill anyone. Ali would be done if he fought Tyson before Cus D'amato died.

Forman was just as good with just as many KO and in early rounds as well...Ali was the "smartest" but didn't know when to quit!
