If someone was not charged/convicted for a violent crime committed before he or she was an adult, Is he or she qualified to serve in Law Enforcement if he or she answers "yes" to doing so during a polygraph?

(he or she has not been convicted of any felony, and did not commit any criminal activity as an adult)

When you take the polygraph, its to test your honesty, not particularly the crime. I would imagine the question would be have you ever committed a violent crime. If you answered yes, then during an interview you would be able to answer the question to the fullest. Normally a juvenile action won't stop you from becoming a police officer. Most juveniles get into fights and the board usually recognize that, as long as its not a pattern.

As far as I know a crime committed can not alone prevent you from getting a job as long as the penalty has been served...but I think that's state law so I'm not sure.

i'm no longer possibly a feminist or an MRA, extra of an egalitarian, yet i'm going to respond to. I appeared up PAS on Wikipedia. It mentioned that PAS had no medical foundation because of the fact it replaced into unfalsifiable, the preliminary magazine it replaced into proposed in wasn't peer-reviewed, and the originator of the belief later mentioned that it surpassed off the two to adult adult males and girls folk. i'm no longer adversarial to retaining adult adult males from women folk's fake allegations.i'm specific that a reliable criminal expert could desire to try this, however juries could be biased. extra interest given to lady-on-male crimes like family individuals violence could in all probability make those juries much less biased against adult adult males. As for the drug incarceration rules, i could like to work out some hyperlinks there. you have a factor. As for the "boy disaster," the media is in hysterics with regard to the nonetheless-disputed thought of a "boy disaster." And the media is in hysterics with regard to the nonetheless-disputed thought of a "salary hollow." I see no gender bias; the media basically likes being hysterical. the two feminists and MRAs tend to tutor a blind eye to discrimination against the choice intercourse. To their credit, MRAs a minimum of are up-front approximately their circulate being centred on their gender's themes, and don't declare that ending sexism against adult adult males will end all inequality everywhere.

Although you have never been convicted and your record is clean, you would flunk the psychological test and wash out.

if you would lie and tell them you commited a violent crime, then you have admitted to doing one, even if never caught,

And once you tell them you did it, you would be disqualified
