Hi. My appetite has been very weird lately. I have found that I can go for 2 days without eating and still not feel hungry at all. After one meal, I feel very full for a long time. When I force myself to eat, it makes things worse. When I have forced myself to eat two meals in one day, I find myself feeling extremely, extremely full and the mere sight and/or smell of food makes me feel like I am going to vomit. I thought it was healthy to eat three meals a day, so do I feel sick when I eat one a day? Any doctors in the house?

You've gotten yourself used to an abnormal meal cycle. Try to have three meals a day, at the same times each day. They don't have to fill you up, just get used to the regularity. Shift workers often have your problem. Your stomach can shrink and make meals unpleasant, so try soups and salads to get you back in shape. Good luck.

I been that way for a year and half. I eat very little, I get full fast and if I try to eat just one full meal I get sick. Just be careful because I ignored it and started getting dizzy and passing out. So I ate a few bits ever now and then and took a one a day vitamin. I am OK now with just that. I lost a lot of weight though. I don't like food anymore, but we have to have it to live. I drink a lot of juices too.
My doctor told me everything is ok, just don't starve yourself. Make yourself something even if it is just a bit. This might not be your answer,but your not alone.

I think its possible to program you're body's eating habits. try eating little meals a day. Like maybe an apple for breakfast and something small for lunch just to let your body adjust to slow changes. I actually used to get hungry like every 2-3 hours so I would have tons of snacking time now I dont do snacking I actually have 3 small meals a day and feel quite good.

whats your secret? I cant go without eating every 4hrs, really!!

As far as your appetite, think of your stomach as a balloon. The more you eat, the more it will expand (and vice versa). Try to eat, first of all because its the healthy thing to do but also so that your stomach can get used to eating. Then gradually eat a little more everyday until your eating properly again.

I think that you have some trouble inside your stomach.You take tonics under supervision of some doctor.The way you eat tells that you have some problem and yes, your appetite is unhealthy for you may get sick.
