"55- And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers.
56- And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).
57- I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures).
58- Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong"
[Surah Ahzaab 51:55-58]

You can worship a God who you believe created you and still do evil things so worship is not the answer.

Why not? Religion has never done anyone any harm, has it?
Oh, sorry, I've gone insane. Religion is the cause of millions of deaths around the world every year, because A doesn't like the god B worships, and smites the unbeliever.

You have a weakminded and dependent (ie "Childlike") personality. Human beings no longer need to believe in god or gods. Stand up straight, do not cower before anything or anybody. And grow up. It will do you good. Evil is not the opposite of god, it is a perception we humans have of certain behaviours and outcomes. Get real, brother.

Attachement
Ego

Yes, We should worship Allah and Obey his messenger Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam orders,
Then Allah protect us from evil.
