tried with picture package software, but computer compu says no peripheral device connected. is there any handycam set up for usb streaming

Yup there is a setup inside the handycam itself. You can go into the main menu on the handycam and find a setting called USB Mode. Set it to USB stream and then connect the USB cable, and install the driver and the picture package software. Dont forget to install the driver, or else it wont work.

You should have a connecting usb cable to run from your cam to the computer but you do need the software to install into your computer usually supplied with the camera to do it.
