-Hate to burst anyones bubble but i was testing smoking as a medical means. I have physical injuries that don't heal and interfere with more active aspects of life and smoking GREATLY helped, however how it is frowned upon even though physical therapy, surgery and medicine havent helped even slightly, i'll have to go without help

If they aren't looking for drugs, then don't worry about it. Injuries that do not heal are not caused by drugs. Are you diabetic? If you have a cut or sore that has not healed it may be because of a lot of reasons. Smoking pot is not the worst thing in the world to do, I just hope you never do more than that! I hope your injury heals soon.

No, they won't find it without looking for it. Also, blood is not normally tested for drugs of abuse. Urine is what is tested most often because the drugs metabolize to a more detectable compound. So, don't worry about it, but stop doing drugs!

Nope. Lab tests are expensive to run and unless the MD orders specifically say to look for drugs, then the lab will not perform the test.
