A select group of Christians keeps on claiming this section of Y!A to be theirs. Note: not all, just a few delusional ones. But this questions is addressed to Christians, because I never saw somebody from another belief claim to own this section.

I adore comedy, so I decided to dedicate a little blog about the subject.

So far I have:

-Atheists are searching for answers, because they are very unhappy with their empty lives
-Muslims come to share the false religion, don't listen to them!
-Christians come here to share the True word of the Lord.

I couldn't find any funny answers about the reason why Pagans have the nerve to come here. For some reason it also never gets asked. Since on all my questions I usually get at least 5 answers from people who never took the time to read the details, I figured this one question would be enough.

So, why do Pagans have the guts to come here?

Pagans are into spells like the wiccans. It is in the Bible and is blasphemy. Most Pagans don't know that they are working against God and are working for satan. I use to be in the practice of wicca so I know alot about this. I think you came here for a reason and I just gave it to you. Be careful. Eternity is forever. May you find the truth in the Lord Jesus. God Bless.

To whom do you refer when you talk of "Pagans"? The word pagan is, today used as a blanket term to cover any belief system that does not conform to the major religious ideologies. It would be good for members of the larger religious groups to open their blinkered eyes and narrow minds to the fact that paganism in its many forms has been around far longer than any of the other ways of worship. Perhaps then the arrogance shown by so many questioners would be tempered by reason.

Excuse me this is the Religion and Spirituality section. Not the Christians only section.
Paganism is an older religion than Christianity. and much of modern Christianity has its roots in Paganism . Either through the Israelites(Jewish) Religion or the early forming Christian Church that took in many religious ideas from different religions to try and convert these people to their religion. and still have keep the rites and rituals even though they now call them SATAN worshipers.because they did not convert or practiced both religions in large numbers.

And Christians never attack others belief systems Ha!
the pagans have more rights to be here than you because they at least obey the community rules ,remember it is not your venue it's Answers site and those who care to join whether they agree with your beliefs or not . so live and learn
peace out even to you

It is in our nature to serve a god. God made us to serve Him. So since religion is a system to reach a god, it makes since that people would want to come here, no matter what god they were trying to reach.
Christianity is different, in that we do not have to reach God, He reached down and came to us. All we have to do is respond to Him.

It is clear that even in the old testament the messiah would be Lord. (Psalm 110) Jesus was hated for His blasphemy that He was God's son, king. Many of Jesus' followers were alive when Paul was teaching and Paul even went before them so that they could approve him. If he was spreading lies, the apostles and His many disciples would have taken issue with him. The apostles would not have died for something they believed to be false. No one is willing to die for something they don't believe, many die for something they believe, but the apostles were in a unique position of knowing first hand physically and spiritually that Jesus was the Christ. If they didn't believe that, they could have saved their lives(physically anyway), and many others.

Why is it that those who say they are accepting of all peoples, really aren't, and try to change you? Pagans believe in God... just in a different way than Christians, Jews or Muslims. They believe that everyTHING is god-manifested. I think that is beautiful. Tolerate the beliefs of others, and others will tolerate your beliefs. (dear author, this was not directed at you... just rhetorically stated)

Hey dink, "Pagan" literally means "a country dweller" and for us folks that live way out in the country, the internet is like a night on the town!

Since I don't post religious stuff in other sections, am I allowed "to wonder why an atheist would visit the R&S section"?

Pagans are enemies of God.
All they want to do is create doubt and discord in the mind of the believer. But this is not anything new. It has been the work of the enemy (the Devil) from time immermorial. They are being used as pawns. But even pawns do have the freedom to express what they believe.
