This is my first time wearing contact lens, Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism, so do i need to buy any cleaning solution to clean it and if is, which brand ? Thanks You !

Is it everytime i remove them , i need to clean them ? or i can just put them back into the casing without cleaning and use it again tomorrow ?

Acuvue advance are different from Acuvue 2 lenses as they are silicone hydrogel lenses. they are prone to lipid build up (this is an oily layer from your tear film). This can be easily cleaned off by rubbing the lens in the palm of your hand with a suitable solution. This is rinsed off with the same solution and the lenses must be soaked in fresh contact lens disinfection every night.
Hygiene is extremely important when wearing soft lenses, otherwise you are greatly increasing the risk of a range of eye infections. You must thoroughly was & dry you hands before handling them and only use the solution recommended by your practitioner.
The solution we recommend is Alcon's Oti-free express which is a multi-purpose solution to clean store & disinfect your lens in. It always comes out very well in independant clinical trials & suitable for use with silicone hydrogel lenses (which some cheaper brands are not).

i have been wearing acuvue 2's for some time now...they are 2 week disposables, and I usually do a quick rinse before I store them for the night. I don't clean them really good, but just enough to get some of the gunk off if there's any on there.
so i suggest you do whatever you feel comfortable doing...if you are comfortable cleaning them, clean them...if you don't want to, then don't....Just do NOT use them for longer than 2 weeks. good luck.

Of course, you need to clean it every time you remove them! Quick and simple clean is OK.

you should clean the contact lens should clean them,then only you can keep in casing which contain the solution. it is important to clean the dust in the contact lens. you can use Ciba vision softwear saline to clean your contact lens.

hell yes you need to clean it or else you will develope an allergic reaction like i did. now i can no longer wear contacts and i am stuck with my glasses with a 7.50 prescription. clean them.
