Why does my windows theme change ?

When I start up my computer, sometimes I get windows classic theme and sometimes windows xp theme

mine always change this time of yearas well, i came home from work last week and there were lights and tinsel all over them? dont worry they normally change back within couple of weeks :) MERRY XMAS
