i dont like when people say "xmas" it's "Christmas"
why you want to take the "Christ" part out?
Jesus is the reason for the season!

Yes, takes about 10 minutes depending on the microwave. Go to the supermarket and have a look at the weight and instructions on commercial Christmas puddings. Just one thing, if you're microwaving a Christmas pudding, how come you get chocolate pudding all over your microwave?

First of all how much pudding are you making and what kind. It's not safe to microwave it without making a huge mess. You are better off making it in a pan on the stove top. I have tried doing this in a microwave, and had splatters of chocolate pudding all over it. So you're best bet is that you just use a sauce pan on the stove.

Not advisable unless the recipe that you used was suitable for the microwave!....Why not put your pudding into an old fashioned porcelain bowl and cook it in the oven. place it in a roasting tray with water surrounding it and bake for approximately 7 to 8 hours. Top up with water every hour or two.

Yes, you can microwave it but I would say it would be better if you can steam it for at least a couple of hours first. Enjoy it and Merry Xmas.
