Who exactly is Oliver Grandger (sp)? Joseph Smith said that he would be a household name. If 1 out of 3 Mormons can't say who he is, does that make Joseph Smith a False Prophet?

what Bible or book is the referance d&c out of. also were does the Bible say if an angle gives you a text dont follow it for it is false. and mormons nothing against them are false. any one who puts another book before the Bible and say the Bible is false is wrong. and they try to do what satan did and that is say you can become a God if you do certain things. for instance you have to learn a secret hand shake. and alot of other stuff. Bible as far as understands mentions multiple times that there is no other God, and that there was none before and there will be no other Gods after. the only time it talks about other gods is when it is talking about false gods. satan told eve if she ate the fruit she would be just like God. if you ever show a mormon something like there is one God they try to say it is so mistranslated. ironically the Bible just got proven as far as old test goes to be 98 percent acurate. the 2 percent is mostly grammer. like commas and stuff. also it is proven to be 100 percent accurate as far as the meaning. i believe in a powerfull God who made sure his word would not change. Bible even says that. My God is a powerfull God. i dont know what kind or power the mormons god has if he cant even keep his word the same but he can make the earth

A household name?...you obviously are saying or 'typing' his name...and how did you come to know who he is?

Here is the actual scripture where he is mentioned...
D&C 117:12
And again, I say unto you, I remember my servant Oliver Granger; behold, verily I say unto him that his name shall be had in sacred remembrance from generation to generation, forever and ever, saith the Lord.

So...any intelligent person that actually READS the scripture, and not just reads off some 'list' of 'false prophecies' which most people do... there is no where it says it will be a "household name" as you suggested...and also the LORD is talking and he says "I" remember my servant. That means the LORD remembers him, not "every member in the church will know" who he is. The Lord pretty much put Oliver's name in scripture. I would say that is pretty big for rememberance - wouldn't you???

The Bible says that EVEN IF AN ANGEL gives a text for people to follow, DO NOT BELIEVE IT because it is false, hence Smith. Christians understand, Mormons must seek the truth to understand, and non-believers have no clue what I am talking about.

Joseph Smith was a false prophet. The Book of Mormon is full of legal inconsistencies.
