They don't just distort the truth; they are out-and-out liars. Deception is one of the pillars of Islam. They lie to everyone about everything. And they've been trying to rewrite history to hide their ruthlessness and evil ever since their insane "prophet" was alive.

1. I don't think Osama is "innocent"/ I also don't think Bush is "innocent". He has led a war that killed 650,000 people! (John Hopkin's University)
2. I don't dispute the occurence of the Holocaust. It was an unimagainable event in history with mass genocide. Hopefully we can use it to stop genocides from ever happening again. Unfortuanately there is one in Darfur right now in Africa and *if you ask me* Iraq.
3. The Crusades caused millions of people to die or be misplaced in "the name of religion" That is terrorism too! But we all make mistakes at some point in time and that shouldn;t be used for the basis of judgement.
4. It has been confirmed that inside intelligence knew of 911 ahead of time and did not warn the civilians. This really frustrates me! But that doesn't mean the hijackers weren't involved too.
5. Jesus was not crucified! This is the one completely true thins you've stated about Islam :) As a matter of fact, there was an early Christian sect called the Basilidans who also believed Jesus was never crucified. They followed the gospel of Barnabus (which was taken out of the Bible). In the late 4th century disputes escalated about how the Church was to formulate the Bible and what would be included. After much bloodshed and argument it was agreed upon that the idea of the Trinity be integrated into the (at the time) strictly monotheistic Christians. This is pure blasphemy *to me* God has no son, no wife, no brother, no children etc. He may be the creator of children and humans and in that sense we are "children of God" but in a literal and logical sense we aren't divine. In Islam, there is an uncomprimising view of monotheism. God is untangible, undetectable, unseen; not to be grasped by any mundane descriptions. There is a blanket of mystery that seperates us from Him and only through Islam will we ultimately find out more about God (in the next life).
FOr this life though, we should work to be good humans; to other Muslims and non Muslims. We need to focuse on prayer, charity, self restraint (fasting) and good deeds which constitute the pillars of Islam. Peace and God bless.

looks like you're trying to ketch up could it be they got it from the people that they copied the bible from oh that could never be true
or could it ..... Why do I get the impression most christian denominations "the one dollar bill" " the two the five and the twenty " are the main basis underlying the absurdities of most
religions as they transfer their faults between one faith and the the next. does all this hypocrisy have to do with being made in the image and likeness of the great and supreme false gods of
lost and misinformed souls grasping at the straws of the major
religions designed in the darkness and ignorance .I'm sorry for being so hard on you guys but it so painfully obvious the first rule of faith is wear the blindfold.
peace out and happy Jesus day even if it really isn't according to the same bible you say is without fault. PS a few thousand died so that 600,000 Muslims with nothing to do with it could be slaughtered you should hang your head in shame for just endorsing the atrocities of corrupt leaders in war crimes as usual. Hope those fools wake up some day but I'm not holding my breath waiting for justice or even OJ Simpson it's all the ignorance of the almighty dollar. enjoy the oil it's the golden calf of this generation's choice . how dismaying your beliefs make
me feel horribly violated by the lack of humanity in the world .

Truth requires proof, otherwise it is not a fact, no religion has proof of ant sort. Do you really think that it is only Islam that distorts the truth? Are you really and truly that brain washed?
Wasnt it once said some thing about not pointing out a splinter in some one elses eye when you have a plank of wood in your own! Or perhaps that was also a distortionof the truth?

I really *do* think that we need to do a better job of calling bullsh1t on people who wish to make us into their enemy. Still, you could have really improved your stance if you had quoted some sources in Arab/Persian media that said what you suggest they did.
Otherwise, your question ends up a lot like casting blame without any evidence - the very thing you claim Muslims are doing.
Personally, I don't doubt that Muslim media is severely biased (as is ours), but you'd make your argument so much stronger with examples. People in the US really do need to see how others think of us.
Otherwise, we may very well find ourselves looking at a destroyed US city and wondering "why do they hate us?"

The Quran does not dispute that people saw someone, who they thought to be Jesus, crucified.
That they rejected Faith; that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge; That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was MADE TO APPEAR TO THEM, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:- (Quran 4:156-157)
What was Jesus going to die for? The Origanal Sin?
12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. (1st Timothy 2:12-15)
Then if Jesus died and saved ALL humanity why are women still suffering from birth pains? Are they not saved yet?
Only Iran has ever disputed the Holocaust, not Muslims. 9/11 was an internal job? I think you'll find not all muslims beleive this, just look on the internet you'll find most of the people that beleive this are non muslim.
Watch loose change and you'll see that Osama also released a tape saying he was innocent and the video released could not have been Osama. Hey but I am still unsure about the whole thing.
So buddy, bring some evidence next time rather than your opinions.

I'm not a Muslim.
But I could say here that Islam is only a religion, period. Islam as a religion is not distorting the truth. Islam is just a very dogmatic, tyrannical, fascistic and intolerant religion.
The people of Islam called Muslims turn everything upside down and tend to distort the truth by thinking that they are the righteous ones on earth. They are one of the most violent and volatile people on earth. That's the different I think.

You don't have to be islamic to believe those things.
If you are islamic, you don't always believe those things.
Certain members of Islam distort the truth for the same reasons that certain members of all other religions and sociopolital groups distort the truth.

there's no choose for CIA to distort Islam. the entire international is watching the middle East and seeing how Muslims act. in case you elect admire, you ought to earn it. in case you elect people to love you, sending sucide bombers isn't a good way of having that love

Does your reading that on the Internet or hearing it in the media make all the statements you have written here true?
No it doesn't. Truth is in essence only what you believe in.
Ask my son in law what colour jumper he is wearing and he will tell you green(he is colour blind), when to my and my daughter's eyes it certainly isn't.
That is truth for you. It is the essence of our soul, not the essence of a dogma, a religion or a race.
Try looking for the good things in others. This is supposed to be the time of year when we all give and share the love that is generated by humankind isn't it?
