Everyone, we need to keep this section clean of this childish name calling and trying to just instigate a fight for no reason. No matter your religion or beliefs, if someone asks a question in a childish manner and it just trying to start a fight, answer their question honestly, truthfully, and as "un-child-like" as possible. That'll frustate the troll like you wouldn't believe.

If you're a Christian, Jew, whatever you may be, dont post a question to just take cheap shots at someone of another religion, it doesn't make your religion any more "correct" and it certainly doesn't make you look smart, likewise, if someone asks a serious question, dont post replies just to take lame cheapshots, again, they do not make you any more correct and they certainly dont make you look any smarter.

If someone is just being a douchebag trying to stir everything up, simply IGNORE HIM, if you start a lame e-war here, both of you will look like idiots.

Respect others and you shall recieve respect

Also, if you are ignorant on a certin belief or religion, go onto Wikipedia or google and do search and figure out what you're talking about.

Commong ignorant replies are things like "SATANISTS EAT BABIES AND KILL ANIMALS BECAUSE THEY LOVE SATAN", any person who actually knows what a Satanist is would probably laugh at that person. Another would be something like "Atheists do believe in god, they believe that time and matter are gods".... well... doesn't that somewhat contradict what "Atheist" means?

if you are ignorant on a question, research, then research again before spewing ignorance.

In response to rahl404...

Answer truthfully and what you believe in the most adult-like manner you can. There are several question on here that may look childish but are like that unintentionally, remember, the vast majority of people dont know much about other religions/beliefs besides what they themselves believe in, so "ignorance of religion" questions will be commong. Also, children as young as 13 can (and will) post on here.

Be patient, asnwer calmly and truthfully.

I totally agree, but would like to add one thing. If someone responds to a question of any kind with simple schoolyard name calling, PLEASE report them for abuse.

They don't deserve to get points for harrassment and invective. Nor should they get points for just messing around and not answering the question. This community needs to police itself, Yahoo can't monitor all of this, and if you don't report violations of the rules, you're part of the problem.

Thanks for putting this out there for input, BTW. It's an important issue, and one that I see being violated more and more on ALL sections of answers.

Please enjoy your holidays. :)

Peace.

Each group that you mention has a few bad apples. And generally (to generalize) the bad ones feel they speak for all and are the most visible, giving an impression more are like that. Pancakes are OK with a couple eggs and maple syrup on top. I prefer waffles as well but that takes getting the waffle maker out. You can make pancakes on the cast iron pan out camping.

Yes that is the way it should be. but even if you do that. evenually someone will say you do not know what your talking about because you are not of the same religious sect as us.They do this in their answers by readng the answers of others first.and pick them apart.

You're certainly correct. But I won't let a slander toward my religion go unchallenged.

How can you when someone asks a questions such as, "Why don't Muslims think Jesus is god?" or "Why do Christians think Jesus is god?" or "Why does it seem like there are so many Jews in poitics/media, when there are only about 13 million of them on the entire planet?"(This question I'm still working on...It's actually a fairly good one. please get back to me if you know how the Jews took over politics/media)

I'm not saying people ask these questions specifically, but when someone asks something similar or just as stupid... come on you cant tell me your not thinking to yourself "Since when did 3rd graders take over the internet?"

Am i right?

You know man, the more calmly you talk to me the angrier I get at you. If you woulda just been normal and said "I didn't ask for that f uckin attitude" i wouldn't be typing more. but no, you have to act calm and superior. How annoying. it's people like you talking to people like me that start wars.

(Lol, just messin with ya)

but seriously you do need to tone down that superior calm thing, it is really annoying.

I admit that you are right, but I enjoy a good fight once in a while. It isn't in my nature to turn down a challenge.
