i have seached the net and all apartment sites i go to say no pets i have a small quiet indoor cat and need to find a 1 or 2 bedroom suite in victoria bc for the 1st or 2nd of Jan. 2007 transferring there with my job. do any of you have any leads? know of someone to contact, for gorge area or downtown, i am not in victoria now or i would just drive around and see who is advertising suites for rent, help, help, help please..

Even if the site/ad says no pets, since you have a quiet well behaved indoor cat, inquire anyway. Some landlords may reconsider. Can you get a reference from your current landlord in this regard?

Also, as a last resort ... you can see about getting a prescription from your doctor for your cat ... seriously ... for mental/emotional well being ... I don't know the laws in Canada, but you can do this in the U.S.

i am from victoria- ccheck out the Times Colonist classsifieds
Apt. rental prices are kinda through the roof, i might consider something n the quadra/mckenzie, quadra/cloverdale area- i heard there are openings there, about a 10-15 min drive to downtown, cheaper, on 2 major bus routes and 5 mins away mayfair mall and walmart....about $600/month for 1bd. good luck
