well, not just for athiests but for anyone who molests young children...good ol'e death penalty.

First, many of the convicted child molesters never molested any children. Many were accused by someone that was vindictive. Often it is done when a divorce is planned as a way to assure that the one getting the divorce will get everything including the children.
I have also noticed that every answer refers to these child molesters as male..but many are actually FEMALE.
There are far more female child molesters then most are aware of. I have talked to many men and women who have been molested by their mothers or step mothers. Most of these women were never charged with a crime.
In short, this is not a gender problem, it is a human problem…a problem with Sin and there is only one real solution…a right relationship with Jesus Christ.

A fair punishment for a child molester should be SEVERE! No matter if that pedophile is atheist or religious IT MAKES NO difference punishment should be equal!
P.S: As of now, I haven't heard of that many atheist child molesters...on the other hand, Michael Jackson is a Jh's Witness...and let's not forget the Catholic priest scandal.

Do you believe that atheists deserve a different punishment for not believing in god? Does that mean that it's ok for god-fearing people to molest children because you can use the excuse that all people must forgive. Pedophile is a pedophile doesn't matter what religion. People of different religions bleed the same.

There is no "FAIR" punishment to anyone who molest children
They, anyone should be thrown in jail forever to keep them from doing it again,
The Catholics should be ashamed for passing molesters around to molest again and again.They will pay in the end even the ones who covered for them (the monsters) I went to catholic school and do not go to catholic church
A child molester is a child molester and should have their life ruined as the child has

There is no fitting punishment for such an animal... (using the term animal quite loosely) The punishment should be so very inhumane, that society would not even be able to say it with out fear. something like tying a fish line to a very tender spot, and make the line just inches short of reaching the bottom of the grand canyon, and give them a push, the line then stopping them by just inches of reaching the bottom of the canyon, dislocating and ripping off their tender spot, leaving them hanging until they die.

To be confined to a place where there were no children. where he could earn his own living. Perhaps an implant to track his movements. Jail is just a profit making gimmick for those molesting the middle class.

Why does it matter that its an athiest? Are you thinking a non-athiest would react differently to punishments? (if he/she were concerned about god's wrath, they wouldn't have molested children in the first place)
