I hear most people say when you completely stop seeking for someone. That someone unexpectedly comes to you instead. is it true?

oh my god yes.

i'm sorry for the excitement, but i completely gave up on love and lust and the like.

then, this boy and i began to be friends and stuff and he asked me out randomly.

love definitely comes to you when you abandon it. like a lost puppy.

If you are a man who stopped looking for love because you are too busy making lots of money, then very likely some woman unexpectedly will come to you. Your money will make you attractive to many women.

But if you are a poor man and you stay poor without looking for love, then you can end up being lonely for the rest of your life.

This saying is true for some people and not true for others. It all depends on your circumstances in life and whether these circumstances make you attractive or not attractive to the opposite sex.

it can be true in some cases but from what I have experienced in the past is this you never actually stop looking all you do is live your life day by day while being aware of the possibilities of finding love.
So to summarize my answer it is neither true or false
it all depends on the situation in hand

I have heard that many times, although I haven't stopped looking. But I will say whenever I met someone that I click with I meet them in the most unexpected places.

I think what they really mean, is just stop stressing so much. Once you relax a little and concentrate on making yourself the best person that you can be, that is when someone is sure to come along...and then you'll be ready for them!

Does it work for guys? I've stopped looking for love and nothing has found me.

Sadly, because of that, I don't think it's true. I think that, because I'm a guy, I'm expected to make all the moves, to make all the initiative....and frankly, that's what scares me the most.

I think it is, this year I had no intentions of looking for someone. I wanted to focus on my studies and what do you know, I found someone. It just happenend. I told myself before the school year that I was going to stay single and focus on school. But hey, things happen. And I'm glad it did.

what this means is that if you just enjoy your life and don't stress out about not having anyone it will seem much easier to bare the time until you do find someone.
