i have a 6 year old, spayed female cat, a few months ago, she started freakin out when you rub her back....just above her tail...She starts meowing all weird, and biting at things..(becareful she'll get ur finger) my husband had the remote control in his hand while he was petting her, and she left HUGE teeth marks in the Remote....It's almost like she's havina kitty orgasm.(is that possible??) also...if you stop..she'll nip at ur fingers..like hello,i'm still here, keep going...
What'd u think??is this weird or what?
Maybe i just have a goofy cat!

Hi there, lol I have a spayed female cat, pretty much the same age that will occasionally have this happen to her. She will be overly excited, meowing a lot and rubbing all over my feet and everything like crazy. One thing I suggest is to NOT have catnip anywhere in the house at the time because it will just make her more excited. Its funny that spayed cats sometimes get excited like this, although it will pass, the time varies and theres no real way to know when. I think it is either because they never had a litter of kittens, or it also could be that they never experienced sex and are just going through the motions. Good luck, hopefully no more nipped fingers! :)

You're stimulating pheremone glands by rubbing the base of the tail. It produces intense feelings in the cat and the only way she knows to respond is by meowing and biting. As for it being an "orgasm," I would say no.
