dogs are pregnant for 60 days, little chihuahuas bladders are very small and in a small area, so when the pups are pressing on her then she cant help it, she prob does not even know she is doing it. Are you sure they are not her waters breaking? or is it over a period of days. Make sure she has clean bedding wherever she is sleeping and change it regularly. If you have any questions email me, im a dog breeder and have bred chihuahuas before. good luck, my guess would be she is having more than 2 pups so fingers crossed. and can i just add to the brain dead moron .. manchestaguy... what a shame we cant do that to humans, as im sure abortion would have been an option i would have chose had i had you. sweety

gestation on average is 63 days. If she is 7/8 weeks then you still have maybe over a week or so left. Best to get her whelping box set up and give her a chance to get used to it... If you can keep her in the same room with the box for most of the time when you are not there it may give her achance to explore the box and feel safe and secure in it. Plus it will reduce the area that she can mess in.. maybe put some paper or training pads down in a corner or close to a door. She'll teach her puppies not to mess in the bed so any paper outside of the bed may help in their paper training.
You probably know most of this already but it is always worth reading up as much as poss.
i was kinda thrown in at deep end when my boyfriend's chihuahua had pups earlier this year.. better to be very prepared!
Other than that incontinence at this stage of pregnancy is very common... keep a close eye on her over the next couple of weeks.. if you are not entirely sure of when she is due it may be closer than you think.
My boyfriend's mum used to breed chihuahuas and found that they most often begin giving birth in the middle of the night..so you might want to watch out for that as well.
But the pups at the end of it are sooo gorgeous!
good luck

At 7-8 weeks, you dog is quite late into the pregnancy, no doubt the pup(pies) are putting a strain on her bladder. It would be best to try to keep your dog off the carpet and furniture if possible, to avoid further stains. You may also want to have her checked by a Vet just to make sure there is no other cause such as bladder infection, etc.

you mean you didn't take note of the mating date or due date? You haven't taken her to a vet? Let's hope the poor thing isn't made to whelp all on her own because you don't know what you are doing , then struggles to pass a pup which is too big for 2 days and ends up dieing. Why breed if you haven't a clue? Oh yes, silly question. Backyard breeders think only of the cash they are going to make don't they?

Don't punish her, it is completely normal. Just like in humans, the extra pressure in her abdomen from the large uterus (and babies) is not allowing the bladder to expand like it once did. She is still housebroke, but is not able to hold it any more.
When my female was pregnant, I pee-pad trained her. This way she could go on that instead of on my carpet. She still had the occasional accident when she was sleeping, but there wasn't anything that she could do to help it. A few days after having her puppies she was back to normal.

There is probably a pup constricting her bladder but ask your vet just incase anything could be wrong like a UTI.

She is about ready to pop, another week or so. Have you ever been pregnant? The womb is expanding and pressing on her bladder, mush like happens with females of any species. You will just have to carry a mop around or restrict her in a cage with plenty of paper inside it. I mean a big cage, not a small one. By the way, I'd love one of her pups.

Having to urinate more often is normal in women as well. It's alot of pressure on the bladdar. I would recommend doggie diapers.
