Hmmm . . . maybe you should ask him in this case. Good luck!

He COULD be hinting around to see what you would say, but I would think love should be discussed first before talking about a ring and all that. Military life is very tough to begin with. I know; I live on a base.

Either he doesn't love you but he thinks you would make a good wife, or he does love you, but he's never said those words before and he is scared. If he is a good man and you love him give him some time. You may even have to drop the L bomb first. But if he has issues with expressing his feelings, know that he is not going to change...much. You have to be willing to accept that part of him.

He's looking for a sure thing? and someone to pick up after him.
Girl, The guy can't tell you that he loves you, but wants you to move in? what else could it mean. And yes, the Military code of conduct does not allow co-habitation (un married people living together) Thank him for his service to the country, and stay living at your home untill he finds the courage to ask you to marry him because he loves you.

some guys can't say what they mean like girls usually can, some men just can't say "I love you" some women can't either. My cousin has been happily married to a wonderful guy for 4 years and as far as i know he has never even once said that he loves her, but he shows her that he does everyday. You need to listen to the Toby Keith song titled "me too".

Hmmm.... he sounds very interested in commitment to you, but has not admitted he loves you? That is a strange dilemma... Maybe he is more interested in the whole marriage thing rather then what comes before that (a good loving relationship).

Why don't you ask him. The best way to kill a marriage is by not communicating. You should not be afraid to ask. If you are, you are in for a lifetime of heartache.

I think people are preoccupied with the phrase "I love you" when it can be said in so many other ways. It seems to me he has said it already... listen up.

he deeply cares for you and maybe loves you but is too shy to say it. or maybe he's a creepazoid. test him or something and then move in.
you can't marry someone unless they love you-it'll end badly
