I, too, have frizzy, curly hair naturally and I straighten it with the ConAir ceramic iron. It works wonders. But if you want your hair curly, without the frizz, I'd use Bed Head Afterparty. They sell it at almost any salon, even Fantastic Sam's. It's usually priced around 20 per bottle, it's reasonable considering the bottle lasts a couple months.

Sunsilk frizz control shampoo and conditioner(in the green bottle) is the BEST for frizz, and believe me I have tried everything from 99 cents to 150$ worth of irons and products!! It keeps my wavy thick hair more relaxed and frizz-free even in humidity-amazing. Also, make sure you are styling your hair correctly. After you shower, blot your hair gently (dont "toweldry, this will only cause breakage) Then apply frizz fighting product(loreal vive smooth intense serum-in an orange pump bottle-is awesome) from mid-bottom lengh of hair.avoid using it at roots,it will make your hair too oily. Then use a tourmaline blowdryer on hight heat/low speed in small sections starting from the bottom layer of your hair up to the top. If your hair still feels dry, you can add another squirt of serum to make it softer and shiney. Also, a great flatiron can works wonders on frizz. A few other last minute tricks : rub a dryer sheet over the top layer of hair, or spritz a round brush with hairspray and gently tame frizz. Deep condition your hair at least once a week after using a clairifying shampoo will also make hair healthier. good luck!

Toni & Guy
the makers of bed head
just realeasd a new product line this year called
S factor (s for smoothing)
It is THE BEST
I have been doing hair for 12 years and nothing can touch it.
it is awesome!
P.S department stores use less expensive ingerdiants and sacrifice the quality to acheive a lower price point. dont use them. its not worth saving a buck or two, when it comes to your looks.
Its sorta like buying your clothes from wal-mart...my opinion
