Office party hangover--ouch! Hope there were no other regrets besides having a few to many!
A hangover is side effects from dehydration, so drink lots of water. Gatorade or other sports drinks are great, too, since they usually have some vitamins or electrolytes to help you recover.
If it's bad, take some ibuprofen and get some rest.
Cheers!

Here's a good answer for ya, there is a soup called manudo and it's a natural cure for hangovers. It's really really good also. The only thing I should tell you though it that you should make it the night before or day before, because it takes at least 2 hours to prepare.

It's been a while since I had a hangover, however the following worked for me.
1. Make a good strong virgin mary and drink it when you get up.
2. Get a McDonalds vanilla milkshake. I dont know why but it has worked also.

When I have a hangover, I usually eat anything that will soak up the alcohol left over in your stomach(a sandwich or some crackers) and then I go back to bed. If you can't go back to bed, then I find drinking lots of 7up helpful. It makes you burp like crazy but it makes you feel better. Don't drink water. It will make you sick.

drink a full 8 oz glass prior to drinking alcohol. It reduces the dehydration you go though when having a hangover. If you forget to drink the water and you have a hangover, drink lots of water and go to bed and try to sleep.. Let the water hydrate your system while you purge the alcohol.

The best choice is to avoid getting one in the first place. Part of the damage from drinking is caused from the oxidants in the alcohol. I've found that the best choice for combating the oxidants is to take a mega anti-oxidant along with each drink that is consumed.
The Life Extension Foundation makes a multi-vitamin specifically for this purpose. It is the anti-alcohol antioxidants.

But if you really want to eat, get a package of Lipton's creamy garlic pasta. I'm telling you that it works wonders for me.
Others have eaten Burger King Whoppers though....
