>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>HOW TO SHOOT<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
When shooting the cue ball, use the left mouse button to move the cue stick
around the cue ball. When you have positioned the cue stick where you want,
click and hold the right mouse button. Pull back on the mouse until you have
the desired power (displayed on the right side of the table). Let go of the right
mouse button to take your shot. To move the cue ball when you have ball in hand,
simply left-click the cue ball and drag it to the desired spot and drop it.
For more precise aiming you may use the arrow keys to line up your shot as well.

Before you even think of hitting the ball (cue) you should first learn how to stand at the table how to make a correct bridge to securely hold the cue stick and the importance chauck on your cue tip. I recomend the book Billiards As It Should Be Played by Willie Hoppe. After that you will learn that you don't hit the cue ball you stroke it. As well as all the other fundamental you need to play the game. Good luck.

you can do whatever you like! if you want to knock balls round the table all day while your opponent gets peeved off, you can do that. your question is a little vague and im not sure i understand it too well, but do you mean can you put your opponent into a snooker (put a ball between the white and the 8ball)? if so, then yes, you can do that too. but whats the point of doing either? pool should be played to win at the first visit! -if you want to get better at pool, you have to start potting balls, not just hitting them round the table all day and waiting for your opponent to make a mistake!
