Usually I sigh to myself, and tell them I'm not interested. If they persist, I get annoyed. If they pull out the "threats", I get real annoyed and tell them that solicitation is NOT legal in this city, and if they don't wish me to call the police, they should leave the neighborhood immediately.

Of course, the dogs who bark like they're going to rip through the door helps discourage most sales folks and prosletyzers that come tot he door.

Little do they know that the dogs are just exicted for someone new to pet them - LOL!

I would feel extremely bored talking about jesus, so I would bring up a topic like football "hey what do you think of the playoffs this year?". They would give me a blank stare because jesus freaks dont' watch football. I would then move on to a subject like sex "hey my girlfriend likes it this way but I prefer the other way, by the way we are not married". Jesus freaks would then be freaking out and then I start having fun. I then start talking about how the greatest creation of man is God, not the ipod. Jesus can still outsell ipods any day of the week. The people that try to sell me Jesus are always trying to sell something else. That makes me skeptical.

It's not evangelizing that necessarily bothers me. What bothers me is when people try to force it on you. I really don't mind having serious conversations about that kind of thing when people are open-minded and try to take your side into account when they explain how they feel. I hate it when people are just mean and think they're better than you because they are so-called Christians, but in reality act nothing like a Christian.

Every Christian group evangelize because that is what Jesus to do. If they presented the Christian message for you to examine your beliefs, there probably isn't conflict. The conflict arises when they get off message and present a different viewpoint

I usually listen trying to figure his reality he/she is presenting. I ask questions (if I have any). Thank them for their time and continue with my day.

I already know what the Christian message is. You can find it in any Christian bible. I too believe in teaching all nations, but I know the bible is a tool for the believer, not a conversion manual. I know we are to teach everyone, but I also know not every one will believe.

I feel happy when I hear the message as Jesus taught it, but sad when so many people get off message, I wish those who have miss the point can learn from my teaching, however, that boat has already sailed.

I love it! I tell them that I am a born again Christian and that yes I am saved and I talk to them for awhile and tell them what a great job they are doing. Sometimes they even show me verses in the Bible that I may have missed or not understood. Usually they have Christian tracts to hand out and I take them and say thank you. How could anyone not listen to someone who cares enough about our eternal life and teaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

It makes me angry. Most christians are too weak emotionally to deal with day to day life, so they use religion as a crutch. Ask a few christians sometime if you do not believe me. Alot of the people that come to christ later in life, do it when they are at their weakest emotional level. Something bad has happened in their life, they are about to commit suicide or something along those lines. Then they find religion and it helps them. The rest have been brainwashed since childhood to believe. This is fine for them if it is what gets them by. It just angers me when they try to cram, something I know is complete crap, down my throat.

Depends whether they really evangelized about Jesus or if they spewed Paul like most "Christians" do.

Believers do not Evangelize a person - Evangelize means to share.

Would appreciate that someone cared enough to share their new found peace and happiness with me.

Believers do not mean to be a bother. Once you find true peace with God cannot help but share - especially with someone you care about.

Instead of taking it as an insult - listen and then decide what your choice will be.
For you see, ALL will give an account of what we did with God - choose or deny.

I like it in a way. It gives me a reason to be able to point out the absurdities of their religion to them that they probably have never thought about. I hope by doing so that they will tell their herders that non-believers aren't just disbelieving for a ticket to sin and they aren't the evil wicked people that the Bible and many herders make them out to be, but we have actual sound philosophical reasons for not believing.

Praise God! for it is not the man that knock on the door that wanted to evangelize you. It is the Lord who wanted to have a few minutes of your time, to know you better and for you to have a few minute of bonding with the Lord. in a way He wanted to tell you something. Things that will flow during the time of evangelizing.

Give praise to the Lord for He is so good that he has to used someone just to tell you how much He loves you.!
