Any suggestions for NYC Spots?

If anyone if from, or familiar, with NYC, do you have any suggestions for places to meet people? I like classy places, not snobby and prefer latin and hip-hop music for people in upper twenties, older thirties. Any suggestions?

New York became a pig pen now, so I couldn't be of much help to you.

I lived and worked for many years in Manhattan, and I'm familiar with all the places up there.

I never viewed it as a social place. It was always about the fast buck.

So, watch your wallet.
