There is no such thing as an immigrant! I have traveled all over the world and there are many reasons why one would want to leave his or her country. Some countries people are starving, some where they work for $50 dollars all month like dogs, some where there leader is crazy, so there are all types of reasons, and we can not judge, because in their shoes we might have just as well left. Besides there are no such thing as an immigrant, we were are born on this earth and it is all ours for the living. Just because man fought wars and killed many people to draw lines all over the map does not mean it is ours, maybe only by man made rules, but the earth could care less about man made rules... If anything we are all immigrants on earth, it has been here for many milliions and billions of years. The first thought in mind when i see an immigrant is, good for them and good for all, I am sure they had there reasons and I will not condemn them for it!! Good luck brother in life and in love!!
P.S. Remember we are all World Citizens!

In modern America it is very hard to tell who is the immigrant and who is the citizen. Until you speak to them. Even then they could be naturalized citizens, just learning American. The first Europeans to come here were the first illegal aliens. They forced their presence upon the native people. It's a shame the native people didn't have stricter immigration policies back then. We sold you an Island and that is all you get, should of been the policy then.
Most folks came here for a better life, or the right to practice their religion as they so desire, or to escape financial persecution. Why did your family come here is the question to ask and to whom to ask it to.

I can understand someone wanting a "Better Life" but breaking the law by entering illegally is not the answer! My forefathers entered "Legally" going through the "process" Because there are so many illegals coming across the border, the "laws" are forgotten! I guess if enough people "decided" that killing politicans, attorneys, police, etc. Was Cool,That would be OK TOO! I`m ALL FOR IT! Majority Rules!

Why did you leave? War? Family here? Job opportunity? Better life? I have met a wide variety of people who immigrated to Canada and I love hearing their personal stories.

And you can tell that any given individual is an immigrant how? Why does it bother you? Do you have any idea of the kinds of situations that some people have to endure in their own homeland that might have them leaving? Do you recognize that some people leave when they really would prefer to stay, if only they were welcome?
And why is it up to you to judge?

Well, any immigrant? I just think, oh! How nice this person came here and went through the entire legalization process as I have. Now an illegal immigrant on the other hand..I think, this person doesnt deserve to be living off my tax dollars...get the hell out!

In todays world, here in the U S A, the first thing I think is, is he or she legal or illegal. I wish I knew what has happened in the last say 40 years, but now it seems most try the illegal way first.

How could you tell they're an immigrant? I could care less thinking about others that have nothing to do with me in general.
