Some of you are still close-minded, if you want to save people, dont say " YOUR A HORRIBLE PERSON AND GONNA BURN IN HELL!" why not try and be kind and pray for them, thata all im asking for.

Not all of us are - a lot of answers I see from Christians are filled with love. A lot are well thought out and make their points concisely. There are some, on all sides of the issues, that name call and are just plain vindictive in their responses. But you are generalizing when you say all of us are cruel to non-believers - I've never called a name or been mean. (Although I do agree that those that do give Christianity a bad name). There are some who pretend to be Christians and give answers that are wrong or hateful. I have a feeling they are just trying to get people to think that Christians are really like that.

I totally agree with you. It's very sad to see. I'm a new Christian, and I have enough problems trying to get people to accept me nowadays because of those who give Christianity a bad name. =\
It 'is' all about love ad acceptance and sharing. If someone shows interst and asks, then you can witness.testify to them. But peolpe shouldn't shove it in their faces. I, myself, am excited when I learn something new of His Truth and want to share it..But, if I 'do' chose to..you use tact. And dont offend people.
Then again..This meanness is exactly what Satan wants, isn't it? It pulls more people away from God than anything else does, because it stops them from even being half interested cause it has such a bad reputation.
Good point/question!
Blessings and Love

Not all answers are nice.
One girl was talking about being a Christian and having a lesbian relationship. You gonna say "God will bless you." We don't know that as a fact.
Do you lie to people. Do you tell them truth and love when the Bible has issues on certain things.
No fault divorce. Is that not spitting in Jesus Eyes when he says ONLY for Adultery can you divorce.
That's plain and simple.
Ministery has to be based somewhat on Jesus and the Bible. I mean we can fudge here and here, but ultimate God judges and you have to tell them that.
We don't judge.
YOu can't DEFINTIVELY say they are SAVE or NOT SAVED if they have a lesbian relationship.
Tell me how you'd handle that one when Pat Robertson says a country that embraces homosexuals goes to hell in a handbasket and he's a major speaker for God.
How about those people with the "god hates fags" web site that claim to be Christians.
Now, Minister to a Christian who wants to have a homosexual relationship and NOT quote the BIBLE which specifically says it's wrong for both woman and men to do such acts. How do you do that gingerly. How do you do that WITHOUT PLAYNG GOD.
What you gonna do tell em it's wrong. That's tanamount to telling them they are no longer saved and going to hell, which some people do. That's telling them they're not a christian.
What do you do with a woman who is a Christian, whose husand is a Christain and he beats her and beats the children and she wants to get a divorce and JESUS SAYS NOTHING about getting a divorce under those circustmances.
What do you do MAKE IT UP
Tell her to ACCEPT the beatings.
Tell her to CALL THE POLICE and put him in prision for 3 years.
What do you do, come on, speak up WE ALL WANT TO HEAR YOUR WISDOM.
This is what I do on a weekly if not daily basis here.
THAT is ministry.
And it's not easy
And some times you have to ruffle feathers or RE-WRITE the BIBLE.

You are correct, some people come across what seems angry, but they really are not. They are telling you the truth of what it says in the Bible. There is no half way believing or picking out only the verses that you can handle. Have you ever listened to some of the ministries speak, like John Hagee for example. He gets up there and yells. At first it use to frustrate me until I became really saved and now I find it fascinating to listen to him speak.
Anyway, who was being mean to you?

There have been polite answers from believers here but often when it is not the answer that was preferred by the questioner, it is rehashed to be something different than intended.
This is age old - argument of whether believers are right in what they believe or not.
But mans opinon does not change history or the Word.
Would rather be sincerely faithful than eternally wrong!

Not all the Christians call the non-believer's names, only some. What does make me upset though is when you tell the Christians that you don't want to hear it and they continue anyway. I hope your not one of those kind.

As a Christian I will be truthful and so no matter how much most of you hate to admit it she is right, no one but God has the right to judge or condemn someone to hell, some of us need to go to bible study.... and further more you are suppose to live your life in such a way that causes someone to ask what must I do to be saved... as Christians we are suppose to be mindful of our walk. We are not put here to convert but to live as followers of Christ.
It is one thing to answer questions but to answer with the truth not anger or strife..... Mind you I said some of us... I have seen lots of post with people saying convert or die, or going into Athiest post and saying they are going to hell...
We can not save the world we are simply suppose to let our lights shine that others will be guided to Jesus by that light. It is not our jobs to try and force feed our beliefs to anyone. God does not take hostages, he does not force belief so why should we as Christians do it?
By saying you will burn in hell if you don't believe, that's not letting your light shine it's blinding them. That does not bring God glory it only pushes anyone who might be willing to even fathom the thought of God and doing his will further away. God said we will win his people with loving kindness. Some of us should try more to live like Christ instead of trying to be right in the eyes of man. Every thing we do should bring God glory, every encounter with people should give him glory all people are God's people rather they believe or they don't. Every answer you give in this forum should be to edify someone and give God glory....
Praise the Lord Saints!

Ho Ho.. what a question... yet am I happy to make a factor here.. sure people who have faith in God are spoke of as believers, by using fact they think in Him, And why call Atheists non-believers... they beleive interior the perception that God would not exist, and for that reason they too have faith in this perception of non existance of God.. however on the top they too revert decrease back to believers.

SAY WHAT DO YOU DO!
DO WHAT DO YOU SAY !!
If you slightly keep away from the above principle a thin red line of differentiation is felt among the followers of other faiths.
Some times it is seen, sometimes it is felt and some times it creates a great tragedy!!
Exclusively for "padvinlea" .....
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOUR VIEW AND I TOO FEEL LIKE YOU!!!

I wouldn't call someone a name because they don't believe in God or worship him the way that I do. I have on the other hand been called a zealot, a fascist, a moron, a waco, and many other names by those who don't believe in God.
