Revelations22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
So is then true that only the ones keeping the commandments of God will enter heaven?

Yes this is true.

Rev. 22:14 - Happy are those who wash their robes, that the authority [to go] to the trees of life may be theirs and that they may gain entrance into the city by its gates.

However, there are [2] distinct Hopes for RIGHTEOUS ones, through Jesus Ransom sacrifice. A Heavenly hope and an Earthly hope.

First, a Heavenly Class of annoited ones (chosen by holy spirit) progressively on since Pentecost 33 C.E. till our day. These ones have a heavenly hope, which only consists of 144,000 annoited followers who will be resurrected to a spiritual body to regin as Kings with Christ judicially in the Heavens over Earthly mankind after Armagedon. [Rev. 14:3-5].

Second, those with an Earthly hope. These are the meek that will be resurected to a physical youthful body to inherit the earth, and reside peacefully over it under paradise-like conditions. [Psalms 37:11, Rev. 21:1-5]

Thirdly, The wicked will be removed from the earth in Armagedon.

What can you do to be among the Meek?

I'm not sure which translation you're using. The King James Version says...

14. Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and my enter in by the gates into the city.

You 'wash your robes' through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works. Are you using a Jehovah's Witness bible? Can you edit your question with a translation version?

The only commandment you need to keep tp go to heaven is John 3:16. The other commandments that you keep as a Christian will earn you rewards and proximity to Christ Jesus in heaven. Remember that Christians are only judged for rewards and never for punishment when they stand before Jesus' judgement seat.

OK, my version says:
Rev. 22:14"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.

Yes, if you can do all His commandments from the least to the greatest you can enter in. Wait, i can't do all the commandments I am lost on my own, look at this:
Zechariah 3:3Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and standing before the angel.
4He spoke and said to those who were standing before him, saying, "Remove the filthy garments from him " Again he said to him, "See, I have taken your iniquity away from you and will clothe you with festal robes."
5Then I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments, while the angel of the LORD was standing by.

When God sees the unsaved he sees people that look like they have spent years in muck and dirt not taking care to be clean. It hurts His heart to see His special creation that way. People dressed that way cannot come and bring their filth into His city. If you want to come to a kings wedding you don't come looking like a hobo. He wanted all to be able to come to Him. The only thing suitable to wear in the presence of our KING is a robe of righteousness, without it, we may not enter in. The blood of Jesus is the only thing that can cleanse us from all the muck we have acquired and transform our clothes of sin into robes of righteousness. Once we have accepted Christ's gift for us, we can "put on" His righteousness and God no longer sees our sin and filth but His righteousness. I pray that if you haven't done this yet, you will before it is too late.
If you try to go in without the robe of righteousness you will not be allowed. Read the parable of the marriage of the King's Son in Matthew 22. You might get some clue to the picture the Word is presenting.

Yes.

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Those who don't keep the commandments of God are opposing themselves.

2 Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

NO, I do not believe that is a correct passage. And as for the rest of the bible, I believe that if any of the stuff that is supposed to happen does, that it is because of a mass placebo that has inffected this world. If you believe in something strong enough it is bound to happen, now imagine millions of people believeing this. Even if it is not satan inspired, or have any real spiritual happenings, stuff like the mark of the beast may actually occur, simply because christians world wide want it too. They don't think they do, but if it were to happen it would prove them right right. well I disagree. Like I said it is simply a large scale placebo effect.

If Jesus were to say:

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Does that mean only people poor in spirit will have the kingdom of heaven?

I think not.

This is simply saying that of all of the people who enter heaven blessed are the ones who keep the commandments.

Doing his commandments will not get you into heaven, because you cannot keep them. The purpose of the commandments or law, was to bring awareness to us that we are sinners in need of a savior.

It is the Book Of Revelation ( no s`, it`s not plural ) All of the Bible is true , so you can`t assume somewhere in the Bible there is something untrue , because there is nothing false in the teaching of The Word Of GOD !! !!
