SATAN was never a fallen Angel . you have your Christian stories mixed up . The fallen Angel is ST.Lucifer. Who was thrown out of heaven for the sin of pride when he thought he could run creation better than the Creator could . Him and those other Angels that followed him are awaiting the day of Judgment in a special prison.
SATAN is a soul that the CREATOR made to be the tempter of man kinds soul(a facet of the Creator)and especially that of Jesus.
the name demon means a follower of SATAN.
The Christian Church put ST. Lucifer(and dropped the ST. part) in hell when they started the as above so below theory. and needed the names of evil beings to fill the different levels of hell.

According to my experi... er study, the concept of a Devil is a Christian concept as well as Hell. Biblicaly Hell is a term used for a grave in one of the earlier translations. However, a direct translation from the ancient Hebrew states that your reward or penalty is your proximity to God. The stronger your faith and deeds the closer you are to the center of the Kingdom. Less faithful individuals are farther away, and there is no reference to fire or redundant torture. These concepts came along much later as a means of social control. Besides all he really did was have an opinion.

yes! there would be no worries! but then again there would be no fun. there would be no BEER, WINES, we won't enjoy SEX, no late night parties, etc. etc. etc. why? because we will never know right from wrong becuase EVE would not have eaten the fruit. we would be very submissive and very dependent on GOD for everything (we might not be able to wipe our a*s without divine intervention, how wbout that?). yes, there will be free will (God gave us that) but what's free will without knowledge? have you ever thought what it would be like to be an authistic? that's free will without knowledge. would you like that? i won't. it wouldn't be life. Satan and God must co-exist. they would be non-existent without the other. who would pray to GOD if they don't have something to fear of? most people remember GOD in times of trouble and forget about GOD in times of joy. so there would be no GOD without satan.
as for me, I'm glad satan was a fallen angel.

um... actually the devil isn't a fallen angel. to say he is, is pretty much blasphemous. God made Angels into beings that are 100% obedient, no self choice. which would mean that God made a mistake when he made the devil (Which we know that God cannot make a mistake).
The devil is a Jinn

Funny, that's exactly what Judiasm believes. Satan didn't fall, he's 100% loyal to G-D, and there is no Hell in Judiasm.
