This has been happening for a long time now. Everytime I open MS Word a window pops up called "Windows Installer". It starts to install MS Word again. All I have to do is press cancel, and words opens as it's supposed to. It's not keeping me from using the program - but it's annoying. Help please!

I understand you have MS Office incorrectly installed as is my own experience please get msoffice fully uninstalled then on the internet go to www.trendmicro.com here on the homepage you will find links click free spyware scan and follow the instructions restart your computer if prompted to and rerun the spyware scan weekly avoid saving data on your computers C drive if there are partitions

do a system recovery point to when the computer was fine. Get rid of that reg cleaner, and if you have to have one get pc tools registry mechanic 9, and make sure you enable option to always make a recovery point before any sort of repair. What is Windows 7 Viena? It's just called Windows 7. I have got Windows 7. I think Vista was codenamed Viena, it also is the capital of Austria.

Hey mate, i have the same problem just click cancell when the installer comes up and then click ok on the error 11.0(if your using MS2003) or error 12.0( If your using MS2007)

Reinstall microsoft office, it will help u and update ur MSI from th enet.

You may have some kind of spyware or virus. You may want to doa virus and spyware scan on your computer!
