the purpose is to record streaming audio while playing.some softwares which i found were qualitywise poor.

Try the free program called "Audacity". It has a "what you hear" choice. it's available for download at the below link.

It'll likely take some configuring to work in conjunction with the soundcard, but I found it to work fine and not be buggy at all. It works by recording whatever your soundcard plays back, so it doesn't matter what website you're streaming from.

Audacity can do it. Just make sure you have it set to "What you hear"
