Do any of you can, sometimes, hear your heartbeat in your head or ears? What's up with this? Sometimes I get scared because I feel as if I had a heart in my head (not literally a heart, but I hear my heartbeats).

I experience this off and on too. In my case, it's usually happening when my ears are plugged up from my allergies. Several years ago, I asked a nurse to check my blood pressure when I was experiencing this and it turned out normal, but it might not be such a bad idea for you to get your blood pressure checked...just to rule that out.

Its funny you should mention this ..I have been asking this question for months.. Go and search for questions hearing your pulse. My doctors.. three of them said that it was stress, and one an ent vasular specialist said it was patioulous eustician tube or pulsative tinnitus..Most of the time its benign in nature ..It can be that you messed your neck up and that there is a twisted artery or vertabra in your neck area which I think mine is ending up being ,not sure cause im not going to another doctor.I have been told that i will have to live with it and that its nothing..It can be found under pulsative tinnitus. Can be a inner ear infection ,ear wax, eustician tube disfunction etc.. But best thing is to do a search on here ..search for questions under hearing pulse and see the responses I got..I have heard mine for almost a year 24/7 but I think my brain is starting to tune it out..But it can be in a small percentage of situtations something like an anurysm or something serious ,but I have done so much research on it that its a small percentage of cases and usually elderly people..If you have lost weight lately it can cause you to hear it.. Let me know what you find out .You can email me..It must be fairly common its all over the internet.. Try to relax.. and realise that I have read where people have had it since they were a child and its just one of those things..Its scares me too when I think about what it could be but I have had three doctors tell me that they are sure its nothing.. So lets hope.. good luck

I used to hear that all the time when I ran, I just made up a song that matched the beat. I think it happens to almost everyone at some point usually under exertion.

yes, I have had it since I was a kid..along with other strange noises. I don't think it's anything serious, but it's quite common. I do know it's also annoying.

You need to check your blood pressure when this is happening. You may be having elevated blood pressure.
