God has made the door of salvation so low.? which means you have to swollow your pride and stop trying to justify yourselves.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. but small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life and lnly few find it. Matthew 7:13-14
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise: the itelligence of the inelligent I will frustrate. Where is the wise man where is the scholar where is the philosopher of this age has God not made foolish the wisdom of the world. For since the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him. God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 1 corinthians1:18??

It's not an issue of swallowing pride; it's an issue of seeing something to justify, not myself, Christianity. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: ANYBODY can write a book and thousands have. This "faith" as a foundation for "proof" is, as Mr. Spock would put it, "highly illogical". God gave us reason, not religion.

It's no different than a person humbling his/herself to learn a martial art. One must submit to the master and follow instruction to obtain the goal of black belt. It requires discipline. It requires respect of the master. It requires obedience. Those who hate us Christians for following and obeying God to achieve those goals on a spiritual level wouldn't never think of chastising a person pursuing those goals by the very same means on a physical level. It's as if the physical body is found more worthy than the soul. Seems so clear to me but for some reason so hard for others to understand. They try to make it complicated when it's just common sense.

The intelligent people who try to rationalise everything will find it difficult to know God. They want to know before they believe. The gospel is very simple it you believe then you will know the reality of God reveal to you by the Holy Spirit. Only those who believe will receive. Not those who intellectualize.

Are you preaching to us? I couldn't tell through the idiot shield that you fundies seem to wear. Either way, I'm fine the way I am, and I don't need your opinion to live. If I go to hell for saying that, so be it because I'd rather burn than be in some eternal snob club.

Salvation is only through Jesus. Believe in Jesus, have faith in Jesus, ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, and he will, and then with all those things, you shall have everlasting life
