I have thick wavy hair too! But my hair doesn't even curl with a curling iron. But i have found the best way to curl your hair is to cut up old towels or rags into about 7X2 in. pieces. Then the night before after you wash your hair while its wet roll your hair up like you would with curlers and tie a knot then sleep in them. It wont hurt your head when you lay down and when you wake up you will have perfect spiral curls. That will look like you got them professionally done. This has always worked for me. You'll love your new curls!

There are two different products I would recommend. Paul Mitchell Round Trip or Aveda Be Curly. Apply to hair before you style. Attach a Diffuser to the end of your blow dryer. Make sure it's a big one, not some small *** shitty one. Then tip your head to the side or upside down and put your blow dryer on low speed but medium temp, alternate spots on your head every minute or so while your scrunching. You should get some good results.

There are these cloth thingys you can get in the drugstore right next to the curler section. They are long, gold, and puffy with wires in the middle. You just wind your hair around them when it is still damp and go about your business. You can even sleep in them bc they are so soft. If you can't find these, cut an old tshirt into long rags, wind your damp hair around one rag and tie the ends of the rag. Voila, curls. Hope this helps..

I examine a piece of writing approximately an hassle-free way Heidi Klum makes her hair wavy. once you wash your hair, positioned mousse in it and blow dry it (I positioned my head upside and basically use my palms - no brush -for further physique). right this moment after, at the same time as your hair remains heat, separate your hair down the middle as you're able to do for pigtails. Then separate the two area the different way. so which you have 4 squares of hair. With each and every sq. twist your hair and make a mini bun. go away your hair like this for a 0.5 hour or so. as quickly as you pull your hair separate the twists with palms and spray with aerosol hair spray. in case you like it wavier separate your hair into extra squares for extra mini buns. wish this is clever this is tricky to describe without showing you.

There is just no way around styling with a iron or using large rollers ( time consuming). You may be able to find 2 inch hot rollers, this is THE QUICKEST WAY AND YOU CAN PUT THEM IN WHILE YOU DO YOUR MAKEUP AND GET DRESSED. WITH PRATICE YOU CAN DO THIS IN UNDER 3 MINUTES; BUT GOOD LUCK FINDING THEM. FOR SOME REASOM THEY HAVE BECOME HARD TO FIND IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS. yOU MAY WANT TO GET AN 800 NUMBER FOR CLAIROL OR SUNBEAM,CONAIR,,,ETC... MAYBE YOU CAN LOCATE SOME THIS WAY... GOOD LUCK PS LOOK ON THE INTERNET!!!

socks. when your hair is wet. take just about every sock that you own and wrap pieces of your hair around them. tie the sock in a semi-tight knot. go to bed and when you wake up you'll have gorgeous curls.
