i saw her about one and a half years ago and she didnt find anything wrong with me and acted like i was a hypochondriac. i get headaches, dizzy spells, bodyacks, and i have a LOT of "brain farts" and i never have any energy. 4 days ago i had a heart rate of 100 beats a minute bp 146 over 100 and the phlebotomist said that my heart was racing and beating weirdly and at the time i was really dizzy. but normally my heart rate is like 69 beats a minute and bp 120over80. i also have to take a lot of caffeine to function at work and school. oh and i am an 18 year old male

Why were you having blood drawn? Your higher heart rate and blood pressure could easily have been anxiety at that time. You would definetly do MUCH better with far less caffiene. it would be difficult for a doctor to help you unless you are willing to help yourself by cutting doen on caffiene...so that is the first thing you need to do. Are you eating in a healthy manner? High protein breakfast before going to work? You can do some practical things to help yourself. Then if you still have concerns after several weeks of consistent low caffeine, good nutrition diet, see your doctor again. You may not be eating right and that causes your weakness, problems with thnking straight, etc.

You should revisit a doctor. Go over these vital signs and let them know your symptoms. High blood pressure makes you feel dizzy. There are also some things that could be wrong with your heart that would cause the same symptoms. Thyroid, blood sugar, anxiety, etc... could be going on. Switch doctors to one that you feel you can trust and is interested in your problem. You should feel great at 18.

I believe that people should trust their own bodies (including minds) when they have a suspicion that something is not right. Doctors see many patients everyday (some are hypochondriacs and some are not,) if you have seriously evaluated your situation and feel it is legit ( which I would assume without asking that you have) you should get a second opinion. This is your life and you deserve professionals to take you seriously, if you are serious about yourself. See another doctor for a second opinion. Your health is all you have, guard it.

sounds to me like 2 things......you have an arrythmia. And 2) it may be a simple thing as far as the fatigue goes....a vitamin deficiency. I would see a doctor....maybe see 2 different ones this time around.
Good luck!

it sounds like you've had too much caffiene. don't drink so much and maybe you'll get better (really, i'm not joking) oh and if you have too much stress that'll happen to you too. it happened to me. start exerscising more and do a lot of cardiovascular activites. if it doesn't get any better, then start eating chocolate. hey, its been proven to make you happy, so if it relieves stress, then eat it! i'm really being serious about this because that happened to me before i took up taekwondo.

if you are feeling a bit uncomfortable, you should really consider going to the doctor again, if u feel that the doctor is unaccurate, maybe you should see another 1.
