Check the camera's Movie Quality/Resolution setting.

60fps is only available on one of the settings for 320x240 pixels. The other settings are all for 30 or 15 fps.

You may actually get a better picture on 640x480 at 30 fps.

Good Luck

It goes back to fps standards...

15 fps is common with certain types of animation, namely anime
21 fps is considered to be what the avage human eye comprihends as smooth
24 fps is what 35mm movies (thearters) play back at.
29.95 fps is DVD
30 fps is the avrage VHS tape

Video games fps differ from game to game and system configuration to system configuration, usually averages out at around 25-30 fps at the low end possibly much higher on high end depending on game and configuration.

Remember even high defs like IMAX still only run at about 48fps tops, your camera can record faster than tat according to this.

You might check out some production viewers (trying to find one for free will be difficult though) they will usually let you view at any frame rate you like, as long as your system can handle it.

FPS can be somewhat misleading, as 60 fields per second is the same as 30 frames per second. Some companies will quote fields per second, and other companies quote frames per second. Just remember that 60 fields per second is the same as saying 30 frames per second.

I'm not sure. I don't remember ever seeing DVD or video player that have 60fps. 30fps good enough I'll say. It might be that 60fps camera capture fast moving objects better and not that it is for displaying video actually playing at 60fps. Better read manuals and do some thinking or Googling.
