Yes.

Suffer through it until the holiday season passes, or if it's just the winter that bothers you, wait until spring.

When stuck indoors, you could listen to radio on the internet (if you have a connection that is faster than dialup). My two favorites are:
Tammy Bruce
http://www.tammybruce.com
Neal Boortz
http://www.boortz.com

They both have links to their radio programs on their home pages.

Also, you can find all kinds of radio programs here:

If you click on Libertarian, you will find some radio that is playing Neal Boortz right now, in fact. I am listening to him now.

That's just all I do, besides listen to music, pray, and read the bible.

Be well.

I do not but i know people who do. Try to relax and remind your self that you are not the only one that feels this way. The holidays are just like any other day except more commercialized. It also depends on way is causing your depression. If its money then just create your gifts its more fun and you'd be amazed at all you can do. If its the crowds and people just think of it as you being in a big city. If its the fact that no one is there to spend it with you get a pet or call a friend. And if this dosent cover your problem I am truely sorry,

People have different reasons for being depressed at this time of year, many have lost loved ones at this time or it brings back happy memories of someone who has passed away as in my case there are many people I miss and the Hollidays are not as joyful with them gone.I think maybe people expect too much from this time of year. When we were children it was happy and magical, now it's a rat race, and that's disappointing.I like to be with friends and family that can talk about meaningful deep things, and rent funny movies and go see some of the great Christmas musicals.I like the musical of the Christmas Carol because it's funny and also shows restoration of a man that needed alot of forgiveness.Try focusing on things that will make you smile.

I suffer depression year-round, and it always gets worse during the winter. This happens to many people, and it's commonly called "Seasonal Affective Disorder," or SAD. It's usually brought on due to the fewer hours of daylight and sometimes the cold and worsening weather can play a role.

I would suggest trying to spend as much time as possible outside in the sunlight during the day, or try to spend plenty of time in a greatly sunlit room. I would also suggest that you seek professional help from a doctor to ensure that there aren't other factors contributing to your depression. This is definitely true if you have any thoughts of harming or killing yourself.

I had a bit of SAD the first winter after I moved north. I learned to get outside as much as possible, regardless of the weather.
