Biblical -- the Bible does not say whether Abel every married nor had children PRIOR TO Cain having killed him.

How come you don't ask about Seth?

Cain's wife?

Well, you will have found in Genesis 5 that Adam and Eve had "sons and daughters". -- BIBLICAL

And the Jewish Historian Favius Josephus says tradition tells that Adam and Eve had 33 sons and 23 daughters.

the mythical cane killed his brother the mythical abel . So abel never had a wife.
According ot the mythical bible there were no humans on earth but adam, eve and cane so cane went out and married a woman from the land of nod.
You heard me. you are supposed to beleive that cane found a wife where there was none.
This kind of question is one preachers handle by saying "god works in "mysterious ways" than the next week you see them crying on tv" forgive me lord for I have sinned" after they get caught wiht their pants doen or on their knees. however you faithful are supposed ot beleive anything they feed you.

Adam and Eve are not the only case of genetic isolation. It happened very frequently for fight on territories that a man take his wife away and start a new tribe. Criminating the marriage with sisters is a much resent ethics.

(Cain killed Abel in Genesis 4. Abel had no wife that we know of.)
Genesis 5
Adam and Eve had a third son, Seth, and they had other sons and daughters.

There were no laws against incest at the time.

In the old old old books the origin of Cain's wife is believed to be decended of Lilith, the first wife of Adam. Lilith, I believe, is mentioned only in the Hebrew texts. Her existance was deleted in future editions of the Christian Bible. And I am pretty sure that Able was slain before taking a wife. As far as Cain and his wife..another branch os study says that Adam and Eve were the first, but believe that God created other pockets of population after the Eden experiment began to come apart.

This is a perfect example that the Bible is NOT complet--contrary to what you Born Again minister would have you believe. Many MANY things have been left out of the Bible including the other children of Adam and Eve--including Cain's wife (there is no record of Abel ever marrying.) Also remember that Adam and Eve had other children besides Cain and Abel.

Cain slew Abel. Cain went to Nod where he found a wife. Seems clear to me that Adam and Eve were not the only ones being fruitful and multiplying.

History becomes legend and legend becomes myth...The early bible stories were written from memory of stories past down. Maybe for brevity, as writing materials were scarce; maybe this was considered an unimportant item by the writer. Who know's why?
