We've been together for about two months now, so I know this isn't a big deal. I want to get him something he'd really like though, but I have a limited budget and no idea what to get him. He is really into his music and all, but that still doesn't give me an idea.
He is 23 by the way, if that helps figure out ideas.
Any help would be appreciated.

get him a cd of his favorite band. or you could get him a small number of lessons for an insrument he wants to learn how to play

I guess you have not been reading all of the questions that ask the same thing. Just think about what he enjoys. It doesn't matter how much you spend, it is the fact that you thought about something just for him. Instead of getting him music, get him a book about the history of the music or artist he enjoys. Or give him a day doing something he really likes doing. Be creative.

Why not give him the gift of your time. You have not been together that long and getting to know each other better is the best thing you can do for each other now. Give yourselves a little time and next Christmas you will know Exactly the right thing to give him. Good Luck!

Get him a really nice sweatshirt or sweater. Get him a card and write something sweet in it. Like some memories you have, maybe some thoughts you never expressed to him, some reasons why you love him. (They actually do like to hear these things.) Or think of something you think he would like, but would not actually go out and buy himself. Maybe some upcoming concert tickets. Thats always good.
