The christain mind is stagnant, it relys on the out dated ideas on crowd control, the old politican rantings of dead men. Christains have nothing else left yet they pretend, only convincingly unto themselves that they live as free thinking individuals, yet to the rest of us they are clearing mad. If you parrot a book you cannot expect to be taken seriously, especially a book so past its time and in a time when its only prophesy, that the sea will dry up has been proven so wrong(THE SEAS ARE RISING), oh the other prophessies about bad weather, war and famine etc, sorry, not prophecy, just stating what has always been in recorded history, not very impressive really. So anyway, why pretend to be able to think for yourselves? Its sooooo obvious!

answer me this then:
Book or no book - do we not all answer by means granted to us by the environment to which we are living in?
Thus would it not mean that all human minds are stagnant in some manner?
And to point out yet another blindingly obvious thing:
We live in society constructed by the christian world - tell me if that is the case is it possible that those who do not believe are the ones stagnant attempting to find a place within a shallow universe. Could it be the christians do not need to constantly alter their beliefs and ideals to feel they are living life to the full?

An interesting thought on "parroting" others....you are doing it. I have heard this mindless babble from so many others, it's ridiculous. Do we not quote famous minds from human history because what they said rang a bell in our heart and mind? Don't we seek wisdom from those older and more experienced in life? There IS NO original thought. Everything you ever thought, has been thought and probably said before.
Do you dismiss what all your elders say or just christian elders?

I dont pretend to be able to think for myself.
Thinking for myself let me to being a massive athiest cokehead.
I let the Holy Spirit think for me now and I own a house, have a great job, a loving new family, I give like crazy, I am totally healthy and sober, have brought many to G-d, I have mustang and a porsche 911.....I think I'll let Him keep on thinking!

It amazes me that we christians are often condemned as judgemental when we are so often judged. I do think. I do study the Bible but i can explain to you why I believe what I believe and not resort to insults and parroting.
I am a prison minister. Pat answers don't work and I try to avoid religious terminology that others do not understand.
You have accused me of parroting but I have heard this accusation before. This is not original thinking either.
