Don't kid yourself!! Even on a good day you should give yourself at least 90 minutes for checkin. Add the holiday travel, and thousands of stranded passengers from the Denver snowstorm, I would go at least 3-4 hours early.. I'm not even kidding. Check to see what time the airport ticket counter opens for the airline you will be traveling on. Checkin online if you can, get your seat assignment if you can... I'll tell ya, if you don't have your seat assignment, you will be one of the first passengers denied boarding if your flight is full... and believe me, it WILL BE FULL. Get to the airport as early as you can to get settled in. Those lines will be incredibly long!

Very. They're just starting to catch up with all the cancelled flights.

I have a flight from SF to LA on Sunday, only an hour-long flight in a busy corridor, and was told to get to the airport at least two hours early.
