it might have... obviously the word "internet" is a modern term.. but the bible and all major relgions new of an evil that would come to mankind in the future.. I myself (i know some think Im rediculous) feel the anti-christ is not a human persay, but the internet.. Just look at it.. Its good in some respect, but horribly bad in other respects.. The anti-christ will be followed by many people who feel he is good and stands for all good, but be mislead.. This is also the way of the internet.. You cant verify hardly any info you get from it.. Its all a bunch of people posting up their ideas.. some of which are ignorant and stupid.. it pulls people away from age old socializing, and a cause for families to disingage from each other.. Its just you and the monitor.. The games are getting more violent, children are subject to chats with people of all ages when in the past, kids went outside and played on their bikes or played ball and didnt chat with total perverted strangers double their ages... If you just use the internet for a tool to help you learn, do business etc ok. but a lot is not good and leads our society into problems... So back to your original question.. Yes, the bible did predict the internet...

While the Bible is not about predicting our future, some things have happened.

By the way, the "number of the Beast" in Revelations is 666. That happens to translate into the Hebrew WWW which is the world wide web and some people think it's the beast!

You can't do anything without the WWW prefix!

HTTP, by the way, is NOT part of the internet, it's a protocol for your web browser.

The Bible speaks to people in mysterious ways. I'm sure it has something in there.. Probably not about the internet, but more like advanced technology. I've never really studied the Christian Bible in depth, so I'm not exactly sure where it states this, and what about. But I'm sure it's in there somewhere.

it was not necessary to the message. The internet is just another one of Man's toys. I suspect that if we had waited for God's time we would not have needed the internet because the web itself is just a poor imitation of a talent we would have naturally had we not interrupted the plan. we only use about 10 percent of our brains now, what do you suppose the other 90 percent is for?

that is a dumb question. Why would it? Did you think Moses would come down with MSFT's code for windows on the tablets instead of the commandments? The bible is not a predicting book per se. It also didnt discuss the internal combustion engine or the cotton gin.

It did!!! We just haven't found the scroll of that dead old guy that predicted internet yet; it could surface any minute now There was a big scientific discovery about finding Adam's bellybutton.... But how did they know it's not his bellybutton?

Actually, the Bible does say that in the last days knowledge would increase. I think that is the case with the internet. See, you just learned something.

Because the Bible is not a prediction tool for every single invention of man. If it was, then why didn't it predict peanut butter?

The bible contains all things necessary for godliness and salvation. There are many, many things God has revealed to us through His word...if people take the time to read and study.

Those things not in the bible are not necessary. Those things that are in the bible, God wanted us to know.
