So great I moved back 8 months after my vacation! can't really talk about it thought. I'm with the CIA... If I were to talk, I'd say only give Bangkok a few days, travel around a bit, and don't forget the northern part of the country. Chang Mai, and Chang Rai. Only my off the record opinion, though.

Well, not real sure what you are seeking here, but most people as you can see from the answers, have an enjoyable experience here and many are touched in a profound way and it gets inside them and they either visit frequently or stay.. I too live here now and would not trade it for anyplace else - and I guess if I had to put it in a few words it is the smiling, engaging, light-hearted attitude of the Thai people. They are funny and unique - if you have not been, but are curious enuf to ask this question, then maybe you should pop on over for a visit and see what it does for you.. diffferent values here, - maybe it will make sense to you too.. good luck

It is a magnificent place. The Country is beautiful, The people are wonderful and charming, The food is fabulous and there is no trouble finding a good Thai restaurant! you should come visit or better yet, move here like I did.

My visits are always good. Sure I can talk about it. It is a fine country to visit. Just do not abuse it by your western ways.

nice, stayed there for 3 months, took part in some thai boxing, funded a few scholarships, made great friends, had an alcoholic beverage or two. bought a motorcycle, then sold it. can't wait to go back.

splendid.
spend few days in bkk and visit those temples and palace
and dont forget to try their renowned foot mssg at wat pro
shopping at mbk, siam square etc... visit the weekend market if you like to bargain hunting
visit floating market on day trip
spend few days to the beach area... tried phuket and phi phi
splendid.....
