let me elaborate, if a psychic could visionize what's going to happen in future, that basically tells you what's going to happen in future has already taken place before (or at least concurrently with) "present".

lets imagine your life is being written in a book by God ( God knows who), if at present time you are on page 30 (to you,pre page 30 is history and post page 30 is future), But that doesn't mean anything beyond page 30 has not been taken place, remember the book about you has already been been finished before you even flip through the very 1st page. If you think future is not predestined, that's because you can't beat the "Time" factor to jump to page 50 while you are on page 30. Psychics are those who have the ability to beat "time" and able to travel forward or backward at ease. therefore give you a glimpse of the future.

"What's meant to be is meant to be, one way or another"
What's your perspective on this theory?

They can only see the future as it is projected forward from that particular moment. if the same psychic were to read the same subject say on the next day or even the next hour or minute, the projected future would not necessarily be the same as the one projected from the last day or hour or moment. The future is not set in stone but certain choices and sets of circumstances will procduce logically resultant futures. Change the projection, change any of the circumstances make different choices at even a single insance and you have changed the projected future. choices and circumsances might have predestined results but we always have the options of changing our circumstances and makeing different choices and there by changing our future with each one.

That's what happens when people think in a linear fashion. The problem is that space-time isn't linear. What science is showing now is a future that is made up of infinite possibilities... all as real as the next, which "solidify" in the "now".

Your idea of a psychic is one which is able to see a particular future, and that may or may not be the case. As well as your explanation of a psychic seeing a particular future, could not a psychic be a person sensitive to thoughts of others, and how they relate to possibilities? Might a psychic predicting an earthquake, rather than seeing a hard future, instead be sensitive to the Earth? Perhaps the psychic is simply sensitive to choices rather than opening the book to page 147.

Your ideas are more like Calvanism, in which everything is predetermined or predestined. I sort of think a little different than that.

What is time really? A series of possibilities set up by your current ideas of what you might want to do?Can you change you ideas at some point and thus change the current set of possibilities?
Your soul (a fragment of the Creator) can move outside of liner time and travel forward or backward through the different nows that we call time. And see what might be the outcome of the paths we are contemplating following.
You can do this without a physic as it is also called planning . thinking of all the possible if ands and buts of different ideas.
This is all any physic can do is look at the possible outcomes of what you want to do.
your book of life is not prewritten. but is wrote down as you complete your own plans.through out your current physical life time.

Freedom of will...is not controlled by the psychic.
If a person changes their intent....their path is altered.

Some psychics can see alterations and understand which route is the most likely.....some can only perceive the immediate intent.

Just my opinion.
