Don't forget the days of the week! Saturday is named for Saturn, Thursday after Thor...
You also celebrate our holidays and follow our traditions under the guise of naming it something different and setting it as a yearly date instead of a yearly event. Christmas = Yule; Easter = Ostara; All Hallow's Eve + All Saint's Day + All Soul's Day = Samhain. You've taken our symbols (the fish and cross were both originally Pagan), our concept of godhead (the Trinity was first a triple goddess)... Just face it already. You're just another Pagan only with less love, more dogma, and a different name.
We were here first, honey, and we're not going anywhere. ;-)
Blessed be! )O(

Don't forget the days of the week
Sunday = Sun's Day
Monday = Short for Moon's day
Tuesday = Tyr's day Tyr - God of War and Justice
Wednesday = Wodan's day Wodan = Odin, the Norse All Father
Thursday = Thor's Day Norse God of thunder and lightning.
Friday= Freya's day. Norse Goddess of love and sexuality
Saturday= It is the only day of the week to retain its Roman origin in English, named after the Roman god of agriculture Saturn, calling it dies Saturni, "Saturn's Day", through which form it entered into Old English as Sæternesdæg and evolved into its current form. Many of the other days of the week adopted names of Saxon gods in Northern Europe, in Old English.
But then why do you care? If you are comfortable in your beliefs, why does the day of the week or month matter to you?
can't you find something worthwhile to devote your time to?

every christian ritual and service that there is is soaked with Pagan traditions.
the calendar is Pagan.
Christmas is Pagan
Easter is Pagan.
Burning of insence before a ritual (mass) is Pagan.
sounding of bells to start and end a ritual is Pagan.
Use of an altar to hold ritual items = Pagan
use of fire and lighting of candles = pagan.
decoration of homes with trimings of pine trees and holly bushes is pagan...
if you want to take Pagan influence out of your religion, you might as well figure out an entire new god to believe in. because even the virgin birth and the life of Jesus can be related to ancient Pagan gods.

I think that by placing Jesus at the same level, or higher than God Almighty, Christians put themselves in more danger than with their calendar.

Not everyone believes in YOUR god, or ANY god for that matter. If you don't like the way THE REST OF THE WORLD tells time, MAKE YOUR OWN GOD DAMN CALENDAR.
