heres the deal i want to watch a video and i says i nees a plugin. the picture of were the video is supposed to be is a lego with question marks on it. what kind of plugin do i need?

Are you using Windows media player to view the video?. And dou you have an internet connection?. If you have, then the Windows Media Player should automatically download the needed codec (plugin) as you play the video file.

If this doesn't help you, you need to know the exact codec to play the video file. I recommend the GSpot utility below to properly identify the codec needed to play your video file. This is a direct executing file (no setup needed). Then you can use "File --> Open" within GSpot to play the video file. Then it will identify what video and audio codec was used in the video file. Then you can download the codec plug-in as reported by GSpot.
