Should I take that as a pun.
Take her bowling or, you know, the usual - a movie. I would personally prefer bowling. Or go see a band play at a coffee shop or go ice skating.

when i was dating my husband, we went to a concert. the music was so engaging. music is something everyone has in common. o.k. so there is not a concert in town. change of plans. the next thing i would like to do is have a drink (non-alcoholic is fine). whatever. and be wined and dined a little. i particularly like chivalry. i think we need to get back to men being real men. ya know. opening car doors etc. i know, i'm probably dreaming, but, it could happen. if you do something you love and she doesn't like it, she is probably not right for you anyways. good luck

Keep it simple. First dates are about getting to know someone. just find a way to spend a little time together.If all goes well ,it's on to date #2

Start small (so you can talk) and go have a milk shake or ice cream and then go for a walk or to the zoo, then to a movie or dinner.

Buy her some carnations and take her out to a quiet dinner for 2.
Doesn’t have to be expensive, just comfortable.
